Railway Sleepers, Reclaimed Railway Sleepers

Reclaimed Sleepers are very popular for landscape gardening, retaining soil and many other uses. They are 8ft 6 inch long, 10 inch wide, 5 inch deep, being a mix of hard and soft wood. They have been treated with tar, you need to keep this in your mind if you are going to be in close contact with them the tar can get on your hands and clothes. We do not advice the use of these for childrens play areas. They are normally the sleepers of choice other than this, with interesting marks and characteristics.
