Traditionally, Cobble Stones and Granite Setts have been used for outside flooring and walking areas for hundreds of years. Nowadays of course, Granite and Stone cobbles are used mainly for driveways and patio areas, and the effect and longevity you get from cobblestones cannot be beaten. Materials used for cobbles vary, from the traditional granite to newer stone such as indian sand stone and Yorkshire Gritstone. What you choose will depend on the area you are laying them on. For Patios the sandstone/gritstone is suitable, but for driveways and parking areas you may want to opt for the Granite Setts.
